How to Feel Magnetic: Root, Heart and Throat

In short

To feel magnetic, place a hand on your heart and say "I am magnetic," recall times you have felt that way, and breathe slowly. Then bring the feeling to three places in turn: your root to ground it, your heart where love radiates, and your throat, your biggest creation portal. Finish by picturing your next moment done in that energy.

What "magnetic" means here

In this practice, magnetic is a felt state rather than a personality trait. Bailey puts it this way: "The magnetic woman chooses herself so deeply and that's what makes her magnetic. She needs nothing and she attracts everything."

That means the practice is not about performing or persuading. It is about being settled enough in yourself that you stop chasing.

Step by step

  1. Affirm. Hand on heart. Say, silently or aloud, "I am magnetic."
  2. Recall. Remember times you felt magnetic: a moment of confidence, ease or being fully yourself.
  3. Breathe. Take slow, counted breaths, lengthening the hold and exhale only as far as feels comfortable.
  4. Root. Breathe into the base of your spine and let that feeling bring groundedness and stability.
  5. Heart. Move the feeling to your heart, where love and compassion radiate.
  6. Throat. Bring it to your throat, your creation portal, where your voice and ideas begin.
  7. See what's next. Picture your next activity, a coffee, a walk, an email, done in magnetic energy.
